Baccarat is probably the one of the easiest
casino games in all of gambling.
It requires little practice or skill for
participants to be successful at winning.
Players simply wager on which of two
hands of cards adds up to or comes closest to 9.
The house edge in baccarat is the lowest of any casino game.
The payoff is 8 to 1. It is a bad bet for the player as
the house edge is 14.1%.
Short-term success is more likely for the player, if the player cuts and
runs with his/her winnings.
Baccarat Strategy:
A very successful way to play baccarat is to play the trend.
You want to capitalize by always being on the correct side of the trend.
If the Banker hand won the last deal your money goes on the Banker hand for the next
deal. If the Player hand won the last deal your money goes on the Player hand
for the next deal.
The only time you lose is when the winning hand switches back
and forth between the Player and Banker hands. When the Tie Bet wins, put your
money back on the hand you had it on before, as if that deal had never taken
place.
Rules for the player hand: If the player's first two cards total 6 or more,
then the player must stand without drawing a card. If the player's first two
cards total 5 or less, the player must draw one additional card.
Baccarat Tie Bets
Bettor must bet EITHER the Player or Banker in order to also bet a tie. It is not permitted to bet on the "Tie" line only. Ties bets traditionally pay 8 to 1.
